Overview

The Reporting module delivers every number a restaurant needs — from the nightly close to monthly revenue exports. Daily closures capture revenue, covers, payment types, VAT, discounts, and per-user cash handling. Periodic reports aggregate any date range into a single exportable summary including a full article list.

Daily Closure
Each daily closure is automatically generated at end of day and contains a complete, immutable snapshot of that day's operations.
Key metrics at a glance:
Tables served, total revenue, total covers
Average revenue per table and per cover
Revenue by category:
Absolute and percentage split across all configured product categories (e.g. food, drinks, desserts, miscellaneous)
Payment types:
Split by card, cash, voucher, and house account — each with absolute amount and percentage share
VAT breakdown:
Per configured VAT rate: net base amount and tax amount
Total VAT across all rates
Per-user cash handling:
Opening float, cash taken in, and closing float per staff member — for full cash accountability
Discount overview:
Discount types (e.g. staff discount, happy hour, loyalty credit), number of uses, total discount amount, and applied rate per type
Periodic Reports
Any date range can be selected and all daily closures within that range are aggregated into a single periodic report.

Total number of daily closures included
Total revenue and average daily revenue
Total article positions sold

All sold articles for the selected period as a structured list
